We can provide liability protection under our terms and conditions. Please refer to our MoveProtect page for more information here.
Alternatively, if you do not opt for MoveProtect, our standard terms limit our liability for your goods to a maximum of £40 per item and it is recommend you arrange insurance elsewhere at your own expense.
If you opt for MoveProtect, you must declare an appropriate replacement value for all goods (known as the Maximum Replacement Value). This figure must be adequate to include all goods moved and/or stored by us.
Your Maximum Replacement Value must represent the total current cost of replacing all property allowing for age, quality, degree of use and second hand market value at the time your property is packed or otherwise made ready for removal and/or storage. Additionally, the replacement cost for following items is calculated differently:
- For any goods which cannot be purchased new (such as antiques or works of art, for example), the replacement value shall be the current market value; and
- For documents, the replacement value shall be calculated as the physical cost of replacing the documents and/or cost of reprinting, re-issue and/or reconstitution, but excluding the value of the information contained in the documents
If the Maximum Replacement Value you provide is less than the actual total replacement value of all of your property stored at the time of loss or damage, then our liability under MoveProtect will be reduced to reflect the proportion that your Maximum Replacement Value bears to the actual total Replacement Value (“Proportional Reduction”).
For example: if the total replacement value of your property is £30,000, but you have declared a Maximum Replacement Value of £15,000, our liability will be reduced by 50%. So, if £3,000 worth of Your Property is lost or damaged, our liability would be £1,500.
Please contact the office for further information or alternatively, we will provide you with further information if you ask us to provide you with a quotation.

This is a tricky question but if you decide to pack the box yourself then we cannot guarantee how well you have packed it. So if the box is seen to make it from the collection address to the delivery address without any visible damage but something inside the box is broken then our removal insurance won’t cover that damage. However, if the box is dropped or damaged during transit e.g. a chair leg was to go through the box and damages the contents then our removal insurance would provide cover as this comes down to the way we have loaded and transported the goods.
We ask for a 30% deposit on booking and the final balance a few days prior to moving day.
Yes! It is always best if you have a clear idea of where you want your furniture to be placed. Our staff will endeavour to arrange the rooms to your liking but will not have the time to continually rearrange your room.
Unless the loft has a fitted loft ladder and is boarded out and lit, our insurance does not cover our staff for this activity.
Providing the unit is sturdy enough then light items such as clothing, bedding etc. can be left in. Please remove any books, magazines, breakable items etc. Self-assembly furniture does not respond well to moving so this type of furniture must only be moved while completely empty.
We dismantle and reassemble standard sized beds. Unless agreed at the quotation stage all other items need to be dismantled and ready to move prior to our arrival. If agreed at the quotation stage our staff will carry out dismantling and reassembling to the best of their ability. It is essential that we know what is required at the quotation stage to allow for the necessary resources and equipment to be provided.
Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and the more notice, the better, but you would normally expect to book 7-14 days prior to moving day.
The majority of our customers live in the Warwickshire area but we can carry out moves to anywhere in the world.
We operate a range of vehicles from 3.5 ton vans up to 18 ton purpose built removal vehicles. Please let us know if there is difficult access at either address as this will allow us to plan your move with smaller vehicles or make the necessary arrangements to tranship your goods.
Our Leamington Spa, Evesham and Daventry sites are open Monday – Friday 09:00 to 17:00 and Saturday 09:00 to 13:00.
